Software Engineer + Artist

I’d love to identify myself as a creative, a lifelong learner and problem solver. I am always eager to apply myself, be challenged, inspire and be inspired by all that surrounds me. I am intrigued by human and societal development which led to my background in Sociology. I focused primarily on Social Justice and Social Problems which is where I was first able to thoroughly exercise my problem solving skills. Throughout my studies I focused on the societal issues that I want to combat through the accessibility and omnipresence of technology.

Similarly to people, technology is constantly evolving. Being presented the opportunity build, problem solve and rely on my creativity would allow me to continuously practice empathy and humility towards others. My newfound skills in web development would enable me to enhance the human experience and empower lives. I am looking to join a team that emphasises and understands the power of equity and inclusion and works every single day to make a difference in their community.
